Scooby, I will let him know, but I would guess that he might welcome an offer instead of placing a price on it. It might be best to wait and see if he is going to get it graded or not. I personally would recommend waiting a month or two for the TPG process to ensure exactly what grade that you are getting. I did not make an attempt to grade the coin myself, my project was to attribute. I'll get back to you in private with his response. I probably won't be seeing him until Tuesday morning coffee.

And za75, again, I won't be able to see the coin again until next week, so I'll have a look then. Thanks for your input.

za75, believe it or not, he can't find it. He thinks his wife may have spent it. I'll be seeing him tomorrow night so I'll see if he found it.

Sorry Scooby. I'd tell you where she'd have gone, but I don't want to cause a run on the coffee house. Watch for it in your change.

Seriously, still looking. He went to the eye doctor this morning so maybe he'll have better luck today finding it.

lol...at the end of the day a quarter is still worth 25 cents to most people. Makes for a fun story though!

Those are cool pictures za75. Thank you.
I am not fluent in French but between my daughter and I we were able to interpret the majority of the thread. I do not understand however what the reference to the 'R' numbers were (eg: R-32). Could you help me to understand this.

Hi rikcando,

I am not fluent in English, as you can see, but I am able to interpret, like you, the majority of the threads.

R = Reverse and A = Obverse : ( are = Revers and A = Avers in french )

You can find the # 32 " Hub Doubling " in the list below :
