So I had some guy come into my store and ask for change, he handed me a 50$ bill and after looking at it I noticed it was from 1934. Gave him 2x 20's and a 10 and held on to it. Anyways, I have done some research and am having trouble finding a value. Here are the specifics.
1934 D Star Note. S/N: D00009787 Condition, circulated, but no large folds, and no tears on the edges. Don't have a photo as I am not with the bill right now.
Okay, got it now! :D The 'd' in the circle means the bill was made for the cleveland district federal reserve bank.
My book says a regular note, in a little worse condition than what you described, can sell for $100. Yours, being a low-numbered star, should go for even more.. (maybe..lol.. Hopefully someone else will chime in just to be sure..).
