I'm not sure if this is the right forum. here it is anyway.this coin came off a pin.It looks like solder. Is there any way to take the solder off?Low heat maybe? (There was 2 coins attached to the pin. This one 1942 and the other one 1943 with the solder on the obverse)Is it just a lost cause? Thanks all for ANY responses.
I don't think you can "save" it. But those are fairly common and it shouldn't be a problem to replace it. Just know when you dispose of it that the coin is .5000 silver.
Thank you all. The coins didn't cost anything so it is no big deal.I just thought there might be a solution. Thanks again for your response and time.I did learn something tho,(as I always do on this forum)
