I found this a wile back, a 1996 penny with extra copper that makes it look like Lincoln has a mole. I thought it was pretty cool.

I think that was a part of the design change. Look at other '96's and it should be there.

10 rolls of pennies and only one from 1996, none to compare too. I believe you, I naver noticed it before, I personally thought someone had did it for a joke.

It is on other dates too (newer) but I think it depends on how well the coin is truck...just found it on a 2004 randomly grabbed after reading your last post.
