I've had this coin for a while now, and I'm having a bit of trouble finding out what it is. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated.

Actual size is slightly larger than a quarter but less than a typical dollar coin.

I have no idea what this is, but I do know that the word tôhô is used somehow in Japanese. With the circumflex accents above the o's it looks as though the word may be a European import. My Japanese is limited to a few words, but I get a sense that tôhô is used in some way to mean "us" or "together".
All of which may mean that this is some kind of token or fantasy coin.
