Abe is my vote. IMO picks up the most detail. Hope that's what you were asking.

Sooo ... consider these comments in the spirit of honest feedback to you ....

What are we voting on?

You have a lack of comments because you have not provided any suggestions on what you expected as replies.

Are we voting on our favorite President?

Are we voting on the best photo?

Are we voting on .... what?

Clarify and explain .... communicate ... then you have the best opportunity for targeted replies.

BTW ... I say photo #2 is best if the question is 'which of these photos best capture the look of the coin in hand'

I'm thinking if you're going for a photo to grade from it would be Abe. It shows clear uniform detail with little to no distracting glare.

I think Abe is way off on color so in my opinion the second or last one looks best.

Taylor shows the truest color, but to be honest, it would be very hard to grade from the photo's, size is a factor as well as lighting, while taylor has the best color the light is not good for grading, Lincoln is well lit but it has wash areas where the detail is lost (top of head), the pics are clear enough, if they had a little more size and some different lighting they would be great for grading.

Try setting up strong lights and then putting the coins in a paper box with the lights behind the paper and see what you get.

for this vote I would vote for Taylor.

Yotie,

I am newbie and I voted for Zachary because I felt that photo gave the impression of the field which I did not see in Abe. In Franklin there seems to be some shadowing on the cheek. Good luck on your tinkering and report back.
