I have a chance to buy a lot of nearly 2000 Canada municipal trade tokens ( Trade dollars) from the 1960s to 1990s. About 50% are uncirculated and another 30% are AU. The remaining 20% are in various conditions/grades but mostly nice coins. They are from all regions of Canada. They have been stored in 2x2 flips for years. I have not been able to physically examine them because they are in another province, but I have seen dozens of photos and they do look really good. Can you give me an idea of what would be a very good price for this lot? I want them to re-sell individually and in small lots over the next couple years and would like to have my investment back by the time I sell 40% to 50% of them.

Be very careful if you want that kind of a return. Market is very soft today.

Most of the dealers around here have them in their sales albums for around $2 -$5 each. But, they've been carrying them around from show to show for years with no bites.
