Help With Identification | Morocco 2 Falus 1858/9

DJP7x0s New Member United States 22 Posts	Posted 02/04/2011 12:22 am Heres one I pulled out of a bin of Foreign Coins at a local coin Shop. IDK, it caught my eye and the coins in the bin were 3 for a dollar, knew I couldnt go wrong. Anyhow, can anyone help Identify this one for me? Sap Moderator Australia 16806 Posts	Posted 02/07/2011 03:17 am The zig-zag border on the reverse makes me believe it's a 2 falus, dated 1275 Islamic calendar = 1858/9 AD. Listed in the Krause world coin catalogue as number KM/C 126b.3. In this barely recognisable condition it would only be worth a couple of dollars, but still it's scarcer than your typical Moroccan cast bronze and a good pick from a "3 for $1" scratchtray.
