What is the best method to keep coins from spoting? Some Coins from my safety deposit box are spoting.

I use my vacuum packing machine to seal them up...it's especially great for longer term storage but they also have reusable containers that you can vacuum seal.Make sure the coins aren't in direct contact with the plastic even though I've never had a problem with that.

We have a vacuum sealer for items that we are going to freeze. You talking the same type?

Yes I am..so far everything has come out looking exactly like it went in....only have maybe 7-8 years to judge by...I also vacuum pack polished brass cartridge cases with the same results...they look like I just finished polishing when I pull them out many years later.

Methods-For-Keeping-Coins-Clean
If you put them in liquid plastic they will always look the same.
I put all my Albums in Zip Lock Plastic bags. I push out as much air as possible, then fold over. Been doing that for as long as there has been plastic bags of any kind. Before the Zip Lock ones I just used food plastic bags. Not sure for how long but for as long as I can remember.

airtites - make sure coin is dry and unmarked by any fingerprint before entombing it in the plastic airtite
