nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 09/17/2006 2:32 pm I did not get out today to do any detecting. Just too much going on right now but I fully intend to get up real early tomorrow and take a trip to Galveston beach to see what I can find. Today is a hot day so there should be a fair few people on the beach. Will post any finds here tomorrow night. Report this Post to the Staff

nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 09/19/2006 5:44 pm Got up at 05:30 loaded the car ad drove to Galveston in the rain.... Arrived Galveston at 07:20 No rain yet. Parked in the free parking lot about 1/2 a mile from the beach and walk over with my bucket an spade. Noticed a set of footprints in the otherwise freshly raked sand. followed the footprints to the children's play area then on to the volley ball area and on to the life guard hut. They then disappeared down the beach just above the high water line. There were also numerous small holes. I think I was not the first there that morning. I did find 26 cents in change some buttons and a pair of sun glasses. I think all the other stuff went into some one else's collection. Still I had fun. Report this Post to the Staff
