I know it is a 1880 Morgan with an S Mint mark.... But is this really worth anything? (I mean more than a dollar)
My sister in-law found it, while going through her grandmothers house. It has not been Cleaned & she is not sure what to do with it. Any info would be great.

In about VF-20 condition and with fingerprints it is worth about $15.oo. If you take it to a dealer they will probably give you just a little below spot which will probably be about $10.oo at the moment.

1880-S is one of the morgans that is affordable in High grades, I have a MS-66 that cost about $250.00 so the lower the grade the lower the price soone in that condition would probably be around the price that was quoted above
