I did check out the CCF calender. Haven't seen a show close to me yet. I'll keep looking though! I would absolutely love to attend a show. Like I said earlier, I do get to do the Labor Days sales once a year. That's pretty fun.
Anyone catch the History Channel show today? They did a Jesse James "Hidden Treasures" episode. They unearthed 21 Morgans, and a couple gold pieces including a $20.00! Thought I was going to have to put a bib on to contain the drool!

Quote:Try this link... http://coinshows.comMaybe there is something near enough for you. Unfortunately this is one of the worst listings I've found. For example if you go to the one for Illinois, you would see only Feb 20 and then March 20 for shows. When actually there are also coin shows every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of every Month, all year long including all Holidays. So by that list, we would miss about 4 shows a Month and all withing about 15 miles of each othter.

Added it to my favorite list jbuck. There are actually quite a few listed on there for Indiana. This one will do until I find a better source just carl. Thank you both for the input!

Quote: Unfortunately this is one of the worst listings I've found. Well if you have a better one, let me know! (Seriously!) I know this is not perfect, but it is the best I have found so far. It does list every show within three hours of me, although there are still way fewer (and less frequent) here than those up by you. No you would not, because if you made it to one of the shows listed, the others are sure to have fliers out at the welcome table, right? They do down here, which is how I know the website is fairly accurate for my area.

Not true at all around here in Illinois. The organizations that put on one show does not want to advertise others. Yes occationally there are flyers for other shows but only the ones put on by the same people. I usually have to check several other sites just to make sure all are still on since it is always possible of a cancellation. CoinWorld.com has some not listed on the one you mentioned. Festivals-and-Shows.com also has some not listed by the others. I've found my best bet here is to check with dealers that go to all of them to see if they will be there and at the same time finding out for sure it is not cancelled. I sure wish there was just one master list somewhere but so far I've nver found one.

CoinWorld.com and Festivals-and-Shows.com do not list anything (for my area) that is not already listed on the other site. But I was hoping they would.
