jbuck, can we add "spelt" as a generic for those of us who don't know the difference between spot and melt

Check out (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed .com that will show you spot value of silver and also the melt value of the coins.

Just my half-cent worth of impression gathered from collectors in asia:

melt - its about the coin, and if you really want to melt it down, if not -then it's a coin with a coin price

spot - its about silver and not the coin, includes those silver rings, necklaces, bracelets, spoons & forks etc's

either way, it's a great topic
