I guess I am lucky to live out in the middle of nowhere. Within 100 miles round trip are 6 banks that cheerfully take my returns, and redeem them for cash if I ask. I do no more than 1k at a time, and hit each one every two weeks or so.

If I were dumping mega-amounts weekly, or even more frequently, I'm sure the outlook would change. Right now it is a positive experience.

My biggest problem will be when gasoline hits $5 per gallon.
