I was just wondering if any of you were planning on going to the Las Vegas Coin Show October 27 - 29, 2006. I'm surely planning on going and hoping to finish up my Indian Head cent and Lincoln Cent collections and of course to buy up alot of old silver. Hope to see some of you there.

I would if I lived closer, but since I'm in Delaware, it's a little far.

I hope there are some CC members who will be there. It's great to meet our members face-to-face. Many of our members who have spoken or met with other members have developed some long and lasting friendships. I know I have.

I looked into it. but the rooms were to much for me. If I was to spend alot on a room I would have no money to spend at the show. but I hope one day to go to a big show. the one in idaho only has about 30-40 tables. have fun

I live in Pennsylvania so its quite a distance for me also but I figured it would be alot different than the small local shows I go to. I plan on attending there for two days so I guess I should be reserving a room no later than next week. I checked out prices for rooms also and I know they're pretty high but there are a few that have reasonable rates, from $150 per night. My wife is going along, she collects fractional currency, but I know she'll want a nicer room. Anyhow, I hope that some of you can make it. I know I'm getting anxious to go.

Oh, man, my wife and I want to get out of town during that time frame. She loves to play the slots, and I love coin shows!!! I think I'll check into that one.

Anyone have info on what hotel it will be held at?
Never mind, I have a computer, I can look it up

Its at the Riviera Hotel and Casino but all the rooms there are already sold out. I may stay at the Paris Hotel or the LV Hilton. There are still rooms there as far as I know.

Theres also a 300+ table show at the Baltimore Convention Center I think the first weekend in November that I may check out also. That may be a good one to hit.
