Hi People,

I am extremely new to collecting as I am a prospector/miner with cabin fever and found my new winter past time. I was going through my coins and I came across a 1952-2002 quarter and it has a dot under the last 2 of the date. I tried to take pictures but I am either bad at photographing coins or my camera isn't worthy of the task.
I was wondering if this is a common error as I can find nothing about it and if it is I would like to label it in my collection properly.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Also, can anyone recommend a good camera to take pictures with that wont kill my bank account.

I found a couple like that.

I found two of them back in 2004 and recently started roll searching quarters and only found 1 in about 150 2002's.
They seem to be rare but few people are paying attention to them.

nice to know that it is at least somewhat rare. It's the first one of significance for my collection. Thanks again cubro99
