This is the seller ID j40d60. The pictures are too nice. Just wondering whether anyone bought from him?

shatsi - The photos are very nice - done professionally and key details are shown - I love his illustration of the clash on the Indian Head cent and the edge detail on one of his Bust Halves.

His stuff looks real to me - all shot using similar lighting on the same background so I don't think he is "borrowing" pictures. Plus his track record seems very good.

I would say from what I see he looks completely legit.
Rest in Peace

Hi shatsi--

Despite a few neutral and two negative feedbacks, the seller doesn't try to claim the coins are something they are not by assigning a grade (or overgrade) to them. His descriptions seem detailed and straight forward and he has a good return policy He's also from Massachusetts where a bad seller would get burned at the stake .

Of course, only experience with the seller would determine his integrity. If I had the bucks and he had the right coins, I would try him out.

Please let us know if you decide to give him a chance and, if so, how it works out. Good luck!

Fred

The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing.

Which means either there was an error in the listing (doubtful), or he got a great offer to sell off ebay and ended the listing early to do so (probable).

Why sell on ebay UK? Not enough eyeballs on ebay.com?

I've been looking at his coins, they're really attractive coins. If I manage to win his auctions I'll let you all know. Thank you for your opinion on him.

The seller listed the item on ebay UK and put the listing as available to US only. Also no over seas pricing for delivery and Paypal not accepted.
Rest in Peace

He also listed and described an 1831 half dollar, but showed a picure of an 1850 cent. Bad hair day...

That listing was hoplessly flawed - yet he seems rather precise in most of his postings. I wonder what happened? But even so I think I would give him the benefit of the doubt. The coins he posts seem very nice.

They are really nice, but also expensive. And he doesn't eccept Paypal. I will give it a shot when I find something within my budget.
