Time-Stamp?-On-A-$20
any ideas? would this have happened at a bank? it looks as if its physically printed on the bill i.e. not a stamp. there's another one over jacksons face...

My guess is that someone may have lost their time card at work and used this note as proof that they were actually to work on time?

No, you are not..... A good many companies still use them..... however, this is not for sure the cause of your note's anomaly.

I have seen a similar marking when my credit union processes checks. They run them through a time--stamp machine with similar ink-jetted fonts. Maybe it got mixed in with a stack of checks.

Maybe an internal method of recording when the strap/bundle was entered into the vault? Nah, no date.
