I went to a coin store and I asked for his junk silver pile. He pulled out a small bin and inside was a 1982 proof commemorative half dollar. I paid $11 dollars for it and the silver price of it was close to $11. In my change he gave me a 1964, 1961, and 1963 proof nickels. He told me he broke up the proof sets for the silver in it and threw the proof nickels into the cash register.
