I own a copy of the Official American Numismatic Association Grading Standards of United States coins. For the most part I think its a good book. The only flaw I would say it has is the photo quality of some of the coins, whick is alittle odd considering what the book is for. I looked online for samples of the book Photograde but reviews said the same about that book.

Anyone know of other options possibly with color pictures or at least sharper pictures?

Yes I do. There is a book called "Making The Grade." I just discovered it and love it. I'm pretty sure you can buy it through Littleton Coin Co. I think you will really like it.
