Well here is my first attempt at posting a picture using my digital microscope. I am going through a bunch of coins that had never been variety checked. In fact I am just learning about the different varieties out there. I am somewhat sure this is an "A" between denticle. I photographed the second A in GRATIA.

I know what you mean, Wild Bill. I recently started learning about Canadian coin varieties and I think I've caught the Bug! This past week I picked up an 1859/9 DPN#2 in VF30. Now I'm looking for the other 1859 varieties as well as the 1891. This could get very expensive!
