Not sure if this coin has any value, just looked cool. Has the dates 1960 and 1985 Stamped in (looks like after initial striking) I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about it? Thanks for any info

I think they were part of Obamas campaign. They were plated and a sticker of Obamas face was placed over JFKs. I was given one. Probably considered PMD.

Probably stamped on to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kennedy's election to the Presidency.

I have had a .925 SF Mint Australian florin gold plated. With the thin plating and the silver substrate, the plating looks slightly pale, but still very obviously gold.

This coin was the first coin I ever received when I was a kid. I got it in my stocking in 1985. My half is an actual 1985, gold plated and stamped also (same dates, 60-85). I still have it to this day. Ironically enough, I was roll searching a box of halves last week and found another one.
