Came across this in my collection, don't know much about it but it shows up as having a Market Value of $4000. No other grade prices are available. It has the mint makes either side of the year. I wasn't going to bother with pictures but maybe this is worth following up.

Does the coin have the word ESSAI on it?
Î're you sure it isn't ΚΜ#63?

No the coin doesn't have Essai on it, I double checked the KM63 and it is the same coin with the exception mine has the marks on either side of the year as in the KM E28. I will get myself organized and post a picture as my coin is in better shape than the one shown in the catalog. Not a lot of these show up on the Internet, so I hope this one encourages me to continue reviewing this old collection of coins that I have had for 40 years and never looked at until now.

Please post a pair of nice pictures of your coin to see what we are talking about.
If it has the privy marks and not Essai then it's the common variety.Without Mint Marks is scarcer.

Thanks for that picture, same as mine. I guess I should have said yes to having Essai but I'm new at this. Here is a picture of my coin.

Thanks epop, I think I get it now, Mine doesn't have the Essai so it's a KM 63 but why don't they list both versions of the KM63 both with and without the privy marks. If they are all printed at the same mint, how many have the privy marks and how many don't, is this information available? Are the value of eack coin the same?

This is not the first mistake Krause makes.I don't know how many have the mint marks and how many have not.I know that with the mint marks is more common than without.Yours cost about 5-7$. 28.000.000 are many coins for a state like Greece
