I took it and had it looked at a professional coin grader in person and he confirmed at as an OMM D/S and sent it in to PCGS and it will be added to the new Cherry Pickers Guide for classification! Totally awesome, I finally found something legit! Look at previous post for pics!

Fantastic.... this morning you were asking about the coin here, and this afternoon you have absolute confirmation..... A lone professional grader is all that is required to amend the Cherry Pickers Guide? That is pretty awesome.

Be careful. PCGS told me they would certify my 1942-S inverted S dime and when I sent it to them along with the email from them stating they would attribute it they changed their mind. I think it needs to appear in the CherryPickers' Guide before they would consider it. Also, they think some of the CPG coins are too minor and don't attribute those.

Thanks arsave, The dealer who has the coin is having it classified by cherry pickers first I think anyway but I appreciate the advice and I will call him tomorrow to verify it. Thanks again!

Conder, Yes he used to work for ANACS back in the early 90s and was a professional grader for 6 years until he opened his own shop and he has all the necessary equipment to verify the coin but still I do need authentication by a Coin Grading Company so it is still a possibility that it will have to be classified first.
