I just wondering if somebody can give me an advise where I can sell silver metal. I have many foreign and domestic silver coins, including solid fork and spoon and others in various purity content (not sterling). I try to cash in while the price is high, and I am not eligible to sell in this forum yet. I can't go to the dealers, since they only offer low price.
Any advise will be appreciated.

Yes, with that wide selection of silver, ebay would be the place to maximize your total sales. Good luck.

ebay is the best. Since you are only selling for silver value, the genuineness of the coins is of little concern to the buyer. One would expect that there are no scarce or rare coins in what you have to sell.
Rest in Peace

and once you pay ebay 15-20% and spend the time creating the ad, shipping, etc, you'll realize dealers aren't so bad.

My ebay fees are 9% final value + 2.9% paypal= 11.9%...that's without the powerseller discount.Buyer pays shipping...use another ad as a template. Easy once you give it a shot...and many times they buy for over spot, especially if you throw in a mix of denominations.

Thanks for your advises.
Most of my coins are The Netherlands 2 1/2 Gulden around (1929 to 1939, no 1933), 1 Gulden around 1922 to 1931 and 1/2 Gulden around 1921 to 1930. They are mostly VF to EF . And Netherlands Indie 1/4, 1/10 Gulden around 1940 to 1945 EF to AU.
I also have 70 pcs Half dollars 1965 to 1969 VF to EF.
What I have most are solid silver fork and spoon and misc merchandise.
I learn that that was the difficult merchandise to sell since there is no "written" statement about the purity.

My coin shop pays spot minus 10-15% (depending on volume) for silver and gold.
I think that is more than fair. So check around there are honest people out there.
Lots of silverware is being brought in for sure.

If you prefer to try this forum, just stick around for a while and start accumulating posts and replys. Talk, talk, talk and in no time you'll have so many posts and replys, you'll forget why you wanted them.
