Nice detail on this coin but the damage on the cheek and rim will keep the grade down some. AU-53.

Is it really that yellow? Might be gold plated.

It looks AU details to me but polished and possibly gold plated
Worth bullion, but silver is really high!

Thanks for the replys guys. I know my dad got the coin over 50 years ago, and he is not a coin collector, it was just a keepsake from a trip to USA in the 60`s. If the Coin has been cleaned it was cleaned before he got it over 50 years ago. The coin is Silver, and not Gold plated or anything ! The lighting was poor ... Tried it again. Thanks again for looking everyone. Braveheart

I am in the XF camp.
Not a rare coin but worth keepsake value. Worn but not really unkind to the eyes.

As mentioned in his other post about this coin, It may fetch more in the U.K. where he is at. Really, the only area I see that hints at being cleaned is the area on the reverse side on either side of "In God we trust" It wasn't harshly cleaned if it indeed was. The only way we would know for sure is to get that area magnified and check for the tell tale scratches, unless of course it was chemically cleaned which isn't what I see here.
