Steve congrads! Here in Florida our group the Fort Lauderdale Fighting Squids http://www.fightingsquids.com/ held an all nighter to watch it on satellite. We of course imported meat pies had some new shirts made for the occasion and of course met a t a very nice pub to watch the game until the early hours of the morning on large screen Tellys

That really bites! I can't believe nowhere on cable tv anymore do they show Aussie football! At least the highlights of the weeks games used to be on recently and I don't even see them anymore. I used to watch a game every weekend and now, nothing. Really a bummer I missed the final. I will have to switch to satellite if we ever get out of these apartments.

I'm a Swannies supporter and am slowly coming to terms with a 1 point loss. Having said that, "What a game!" Maybe Gaellic football comes close, but there is no game in the world that matches it for speed, skill, endurance, courage, determination and spectator excitment. The total winning margin in the last half dozen games between these two teams has been (I think) 12 points. Not bad for a game that can easily generate 200 points between two teams in one game! Soccer gaining ground in Australia? I don't think so. The only way a soccer team can win a game is if a player takes a dive in the dying minutes. Bring on next season P.S. We woz robbed. LOL

Muckeye. My boss is a "Blues" suppoter. I love stirring him up about them being bottom of the ladder all the time. Maybe you will have a better year next year. Steve
