I've been researching looking for threads and discussion all over the net for the 006. Nothing current.

Seems the numbers for the P and D are very low and sales non existent.

Everybody hoarding theirs?

I am still at 4 total, but probably have about $25.00 of 1988's held back to go through. I don't see a need to sell any coins. I have only sold one coin (not an 88 cent), just because a major error specialist requested it.

I have been lucky enough to find two 1988D RDV-006 examples. My first one in July of last year turned out to be a discovery piece, the WTRD-009. My second one was in February of this year, and was a WTRD-001. Still looking for a Philly, but don't see many of those here in Central Iowa.

Well Maineman, I have found one 1988-P RDV-006, and two 1988-D. My first D was the discovery piece for die #10. All three found right here in Texas. Any ideas of value yet? From reading this thread it would seem that the Phillys out number the Denvers around 8 to 10 to 1.

Sean, the P's average $30-80 and the the D's I've seen sold were $250-300...not scientific...just observations so far.

That is pretty close to what I was feeling. On the hunt for more, though I might not broadcast any more findings of them. :)
