Picked this up over the week-end.
How do you find it?
I'm not too sure about it.
Second guessing myself.

Wow - stunning. Sure looks uncirculated to me.. I'm guessing the hairlines on the face will hold it back a bit. PF63? It's my first time grading one like this, so take my grade with a grain of salt!

Hmm is it a proof? I can't tell but from where I see it I've got it at MS-63+/PF-63+ the only real major flaws is that nick on the shield and the N/S abrasions on the cheek.

I'll wait for an expert to chime in on the Proof/Business debate.

It looks like a Proof to me too, but I'm no expert on these... Beautiful coin in all, MS or PR-63...

I'll say MS-62, probably dipped and retoned. Some hairlines across the obverse not enough perhaps to flag as cleaned but limits the grade.

Based on the rims and strike detail, I think this is a business strike not a proof.

I agree with Fenton here. The rims don't look like they have enough definition to be a proof. Assuming business strike, I'd say MS-63.
Rest in Peace

If its a business strike, I'd say its been greatly overdipped. I am not sure if it is though.

Thanks for the observations.
I'm pretty sure that it is a business strike.
I was afraid that the toning was artificial.
I think that is pretty well confirmed.
