there has been video's like this for years. I remember the Office Max commercials where they had a guy go around and try to buy things with even one with Lincoln Cents, one was a car at a used car lot, another was classic artwork and other high priced stuff like that. If you go to youtube and type in "office max penny prank" you will see a few of them

So, I just re-read my post, and it sounded a lot more agressive than I necessarily intended... I do see the irony in it, but surely there's a better way to express...whatever it was he was trying to express... than that.

It is just gratuitously wasteful and inconsiderate.

I agree ^ IMHO it is one thing to do something like that as a protest I.E. Unfair taxes or government imposed fees etc. But to pay a credit card bill? I'm sure no one forced him to charge $6500.... Again just my opinion.

Money is money, he has a point. I'm not going to rant on and on about the value of money.

In Canada businesses are not obliged legally to accept more than 25 cents in pennies at a time from customers. They can decline to sell to you if you want to give them more than that. I find most stores get cranky if someone tries giving them rolls of pennies to purchase anything, especially more than one, and many won't accept rolled coins at all.

Not sure about obligations but I would guess that anywhere would not be happy taking too many of any loose coin. Rolls? Less happy as they are uncounted. Cents might be the exception here . We are the poorest state.

Did you see his rolls? He didn't even try!

He can buy my stuff anytime. That's premium tender.
