I love how he photographs the roll so you don't even have a chance at guessing the date. Nice angle!

I agree. His listing seems legit, he discloses that they may not all be CC and he has all positive feedback. It may be a gamble to some extent, but $300 a coin isn't all that bad. You know you're getting at least 1 CC and the toning on the top coin is unbelievable. That toning alone would bring a huge premium. Plus you have the thrill of opening one of these rolls. If I had the money I would probably pick one up.

I may be missing something, and perhaps he does some how just roll these himself, I don't know, but with positive feedback from similar rolls, I think that is less likely.

I think $300+ per coin sight unseen per morgan absolutely nuts. Even if they were all CCs, the common ones only go for $150-$200 in MS-63, where common date non-CC will be $40-$50. Obviously people have bought these rolls and were happy(unless they were shills), but I don't get it. Maybe if a TPG certified it as an original bank roll, I'd feel better about it.

one of the listings you can see the reflection of the greysheet in the background...not sure what that can insinuate.. anyway, if I had some money to burn I may buy it... and then report exactly what I found..

WOW! $3,100 already? He even admitted that they arent all CCs, and the bids still come in like crazy. I'll tell ya, there's a sucker born every minute.
LOL! EXACTLY what I think!

if peope didnt still believe in santa clause, these types of auctions would go the way of the dinosaurs, these sellers play on peoples hopes of "getting rich quick" and there are plenty of those people.

One other thing that bugs me just a little. The "Carson City State Trust Bank", as printed on the bank roll, never existed. It's basically at 4K now...kinda crazy!
