Having been a collector for decades I have assembled many coins but I am limited by location for selling or purchasing except for e-bay. Does any one have a reputable dealer they would recommend in the Salt lake or Denver areas? specifically I would like to sell some silver and perhaps some commemorative gold I have acquired.

Hey, I'm not sure how much they'll pay if you're selling, but Monarch Coins in Salt Lake has a nice selection for buying. Usually fairly straight forward in what you get.

I have been to Rust in Provo but I was unable to make a deal on a platinum coin. they did not offer a reasonable price even close to spot let alone that it was a proof eagle.
