I came across a Binary-Radar-Bookend one dollar bill.the bill is pristine straight out of a strap to a plastic holder. Not being a currency collector I naturally was looking for a trade. My coin dealer is willing to trade the 2005,06,07,08 and 10 satin lincolns for it. (I already have the 2009). Not knowing currency is this a fair trade?

How much would the pennies cost in cash? Honestly, I think I'd keep the bill.. You can always get pennies.. But idk for sure.. (You might also want to post this in the paper money forum.. They know more about paper money )

Probably around $12 raw. Maybe I should ask for a blank page for my Dansco to store them? - probably should keep it but my coin budget is pretty tight and if I can get something I want why not?

Hmm.. Yeah, I suppose.. Look at it this way: Which would you enjoy more? The cents, or the bill?

Keep in mind that dealers must come out ahead in every deal they make, otherwise they wouldn't be in business. I have no idea what the note is worth, but you said he was willing to trade Lincolns for it which you figured were worth about $12 or so. I guarantee you that note is worth more than what he offered to trade for it.
In my opinion, it is not wise to trade something rare for a bunch of common stuff. If it were me, I'd keep the note and save my money to buy the common stuff. But again, that is only my opinion.

If it were me and I wanted something, I would probably trade for it. That being said, if I found out the next hour or day that I made a bad trade, I would be ticked for a week. My opinion, if you can live with the price or the trade then do it! If not, don't do it! Take care and I love Lincoln Cents! Gonna buy a set of slabed "09 cents tomorrow! :)

Check ebay and see how much one of those bills sold for and how much the lincolns sold for.

It would be a good wholesale trade. After looking at the bay. I think I'll hold it though. If we do away with dollar bills in the near future it will be that much more scarce.

The bills seem to sell for about $30-40. The Lincs. About $15-20.

If you are please with what you walked away with then it was a good deal. Maybe you could have done better, maybe not. What would you enjoy more; a note you don't collect or a hand full of satin cents that you do collect.
