Sacagawea Position A&b

Would someone explain to me the difference between position A & B in the Sacagawea dollar.

Both positions refer to the lettering on the edge of the coin.
In position A, the lettering is up side down when Sacagawea is facing up.
In position B, the lettering is right side up when Sacagawea is facing up.
