I just received this in a trade from a forum member. I think it's beautiful! Opinions?

Definitely a PQ piece in my eyes - even for the grade it appears to be at. Great coin!

Truly a beautiful example; one of my favorite coins. I have an ANACS MS61 FH, your details are so much better. Musta had a pretty good trade!

Thanks for the opinions! What's even funnier is that the person who traded this to me said that it used to be in an NGC BU details cleaned slab! HUH? Cleaned, or even dipped is the last thing that comes to mind with this coin. The details are very sharp. The luster is a bit soft on the reverse, but still nice and velvety and the surfaces look untouched. There is a noticeable hit on her arm, but the rest is quite nice. I like it at 63+, and may be worth resubmitting, yeah?

johnny54321,

Agreed, should also come back as FH; that seems to be a whole separate category. I also have a 1929-D ANACS MS62, and it's NOT FH - yours most definitely IS!

Yeah, I forgot to include that. It definitely is, though FH is almost a given with high grade 1917 type 1 slqs.
