Copper nickel, silver and gold hoarding is becoming too common
I'm going where the real money is,platinum, palladium, and rhodium
What's the melt value of this 1986,International Harvester Corporation unit?

As soon as people discover how undervalued these other precious metals are, they'll take off like silver and gold.I can't afford platinum or palladium coins so I'll start with cat-cons.

IHC is often used as an acronym for Indian Head cent. International Harvester Corporation is an excellent body double.

The melt value on your IHC converter is no less than $17 today but you can expect to get considerably more on Tuesday (of next month).

I got a kick out of the title

There have been thefts of catalytic converters in my area because of the precious metals in them.
Rest in Peace

and the ease of theft. you're under the vehicle in a parking lot, fixing your brakes, and a few seconds with a battery operated power saw...

If you see someone under a car, always call 911, unless you know it's their car.

At $17 a pop I may have to give up roll-searching and try rollover searching.

that pic helps me understand (sorta)--and sorta relieved nobody is melting IHCs. Even culls are worth > melt.

Haven't checked lately but they were bringing $30-50 a pop a while back (have a friend in the junk metal business).
