I can't remember if I posted this on this forum. Here's a retained struck through I found while searching a sealed (now opened ) bank bag of 1964 Canadian cents.

You are all missing the point entirely.

This is concrete proof that the Borg visited Earth in 1964 and co-opted our Sovereign Majesty. This is HRH Borg implant up front and visible for all to see.

Now, while I'm safe under my tinfoil hat, that is a really great place for a retained element, a close up would be most appreciated. Thanks for sharing this.

Sorry for the delay. While searching for the coin, I found a box of ancients and a bag of silver that I forgot I had....just got side-tracked.

Here is the close-up. It appears to be a sliver of copper:

That's most excellent, a superior find imo.

Gives her an Egyptian look about her.

-Ugly- That's is too funny! I can appreciate that kinda humour.

-Ikanddiggit- that is too cool a coin, it's too perfect to have happened at the mint, too Cleopatra like IMO.
---What's your honest opinion?
---Maybe we should ask the new guy -Imohtep- maybe he knows?

It's legit. It came out of a sealed bag from the mint. I bought a number of sealed bags of 1963 and 1964 cents.

This was just a lucky placement of the strip of copper.

It also resembles what happens if you stand too close to a golfer on his backswing.

Sorry for the visual. That was actually my first reaction
My dad got grazed like that when he wouldn't back off from my game--I was 12, teeing off.
