so I'm assuming 1947 pennies had 2 varietes? I came across 2 in one roll, one has a normal looking date, the other has a mini maple leaf beside the 7..can anyone give me any info on this? which one is rarer? etc.. thanks!

To answer! There are three!
---One plain and two 1947 maple leaf varieties, blunt and pointed.
---IMO the blunt ML, is less common but not really more valuable unless in MS you show us no picture, so cant say witch you have!

pics are unavailable as the wife has the camera for the week. its definately a blunt7 ML..no were near MS..very hard to find any MS 40's in roll hunting I assume.

and I've been using Imohtep as an username forever..my favorite movie as you might not be able to guess is The Mummy :)
