Hi MM,

We all know that we should not clean coins.... however, I think the knife's blade deserve some cleaning/sharpening (would have make your item more attractive)... just my 2cents.

I hear what your saying. I did dip the blade in acetone, but the darkness did not come off.

I did not want to ruin the value by improper cleaning the blade....I figured a knife collector would know if you should clean and how to clean.

So I decided to just leave it.
