found this in the till at work last night. couldnt help but notice some doubling in the date and words below it.

Nice find! Most likely that's a doubled die...I think I see clear separation between serifs vs. Machine Doubling.
If you could get a sharper/closer shot of centavos, that would help the discussion.

I can't tell for sure either. Certainly looks interesting. A closer shot of DIEZ would also help.

will get on that. found another couple 99's in the random bo at gatewest coin, it appears that the ridgid markings in the corner on the front of the coin are also an error.
