Had this one for a long time. Got it in the mail and the holder reads;China Yuan-Feng 1078-85AD.Would like to know if that's right and how much it may be worth if anything.Also,does the date mean 1078BC to 85 AD?Thanks in advance for your help,John1

No, the date written like that means 1078 AD to 1085 AD - the length of time the Song Dynasty emperor Shen Zong used his second reign-name "Yuan Feng". There were no "cash" coins as early as 1078 BC.

Many Song Dynasty cash coins are surprisingly cheap and common; many are only worth a dollar or two. There are three different script varieties for this coin recorded in Jen, two of which are common; this is the common "running script" type (Jen #250)
