Just got this on the bay for $30, did I do OK ? You probably all know this seller. I know the image is not the best.

The problem with the seller is only in the arbitrary grading, the service and ability to return is always there though (slow but works), so if you hate it send it back.

We all know their scans are so low res that I won't even venture an opinion until you get us some pics , but it's likely OK, those coins never really saw circulation.

What I can see of it looks OK my only cause for concern that I can't verify is the area around the portrait on the obverse has been cleaned, but this could easily be an optical illusion.

Keep us updated.

I went to a coin show with about 60 dealers when I was learning the difference between small beads
and large beads.
I took my examples from one to the next. Surprisingly only 1 dealer knew the difference. I was in shock.
The only person who knew was a 22 year old.

I could see that happening with this coin, although you would think a dealer would know the difference. A couple of ways to tell them apart.

If all else fails you can try & count the beads, Large Beads 118 , Small Beads 120.
