Just picked this up yesterday, Is it "Junk Silver"? Looks nice in center sections but the edges are pretty worn. Any thoughts on Grade? Thanks...

fairly common date....damaged/stained...probably not worth more than melt today...
if you need to fill an album it has VG+/F details, otherwise melt it!

Thanks, I thought so. Would this type of damage earn it the title "slider" Looks like it has spent a few miles sliding across counters or sidewalks.

slider usually refers to AU-58...the enviable place between circulated and mint condition

Really, I thought I'd read somewhere that all the scratchy damage like this coin has on the reverse earned it that nickname. Well I just keep on learning. Thanks for the correction.
