comparing your coin - to coins shown on "photograde" it could go as high as F15. your photos are good, and detailed. so far - better than I have been able to produce.

Great find for the ... That is a considerably clean wheatie coming from circulation... The ones I've been getting have quite a bit of corrosion, so having no verdigris or corrosion is a ... Very nice indeed, I would be proud

Eric, it's harshly cleaned. Beyond that, just condition-wise, it'd have to press very hard just to make F, let alone, VF. Forget about that, though. We take them as we find them. Just stick to it. There's much better to come.

What do you mean by harshly cleaned... I didn't touch it with any cleaner or even just a rag

Oh no, not you. Unless you owned it since 1920. The surface just has that look. You'll get the hang of it, as you see more of these. That's the best I can say, really, at this point.

I agree with BadThad on VG-8 I find quite a few of these in my local dealer's 10 cent bin building up a nice jar of teens, twenties, and thirties many with mint marks (!)

To find a dealer you can just go to maps.google.com, do your ZIP code as the first search, and then do "coin dealer" as the second. Try to find one with good reviews assuming there are any most of these shops aren't super popular :)
EDIT: Note that a dealer is in the business to make himself money so they aren't going to offer much for a circulated non-key wheat. 2-3 cent offers would be pretty typical.

I don't think it is cleaned. older coins with fresh wear just get that look on the higher points.
