I am wondering if this Franklin is worth slabbing. What do you all think.What grade would it make? The grainy look on the surface is due to sharpening in Photoshop and compression in flickr.

There are a lot of hi-grade examples available of that particular issue.

That is a very nice coin, but probably not.

I would say no. There appears to be some details lost on his upper cranium. I see what also appears to be scratch marks on the reverse to the left of E. Pluribus Unum, and a nick on the left side of the bell looks like it would prevent full bell lines.

Nice MS coin but very few Franklin halves warrant slabbing.
Their value does not justify the cost of the service.
You would need a flawless example which this coin is not.
Nice coin none the less.
