Nobody else has a 1711 or 1710 coin they want to show? Well, OK, I can keep it moving for a little while longer. I've got a nice little date run, down to 1707. Don't let me miss my 1707, it's really cool.

1710 - Great Britain sixpence, not entirely unlike the shilling I just posted, except it's got the roses-and-plumes provenance marks in the quadrants.

Well, looks like it's me posting again...

1709 - Isle of Man penny, similar to the 1733 penny redwine posted recently. The crudeness of design of this earlier penny plus the near-worn-flat condition and trying to scan it while its sitting in a 2x2 make it virtually illegible, but sadly, this is my best 1709 coin.

The date is below the crest of Derby (eagle perched on baby) on the reverse, if you were wondering where you were supposed to look.

Here is a 1706 Austrian thaler that I need to take a better photo of, and also get one of the other side.
Meanwhile, half a coin is better than none..

Hopefully this thread will keep going all the way back to at least 374 AD lol (I don't have any coins between 374 and 1832).

Looks like this thread is in need of a slight nudge again.
Here are some better shots of my 1706 Austrian Josephus thaler. This is a 42 mm rolled-die silver coin that does not lie perfectly flat.
I have a 1702 to show also, then 1700; and if we ever get there, some beautiful dated specimens from the 17th and 16th centuries.

...and here is the same year 3 kreuzer equivalent of the above thaler; size = 20-22 mm, not perfectly round:
