I have this note not sure when or where I got it. The obverse is inked ok. The reverse is very weak. I am not sure if is real or someone did something to it. The note seems normal in all rearguards. The pictures I took of the reverse makes the ink darker then the bill is. I hope they help. If not any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Tracy

That's a tough call. I pass up on these type of ink issues when I search straps. It could be fading / been through the washer etc

Here is why -- It's going to cost a $20 or more to get it authenticated and to me it's not worth the hassle.

Agreed. Especially from the reverse picture it looks as though this note may have been through the wash cycle.

That is what I wanted to find out. Could a note be faded on one side and not effect the other. I have had notes go through the wash and it came out the same on both sides. I have no plans for the note other than keeping it. Thanks for the input. Tracy

From what I have read it can be done.

If you are going to collect / buy error notes etc.. Best thing to do is to buy a book, read / research and make your own determinations. The book will pay for itself with one good buy.

Whose (author) book did you order?

When you get the book -- use the prices listed as a guide and start following some ebay auctions that interest you. Some of the prices quoted in the books are subjective and you need to come to your own conclusions.
