I'm young too (I just turned 20 last month), and get this every now and then too. Just try to be respectful and tell them "No, thanks anyway" if you think they're trying to pull a fast one, and walk on to the next table.

That too like many other factors about coin shows depends on the average age of the dealers or customers. At most of the coin shows around me there are to many younger dealers around so others get used to that and age stops making any difference.
As an example one dealer at almost every show I go to has owns a coin store, has a person working for him that is maybe in his 50's or more. He is only in his late 20's to early 30's. Most people at the show seam to rather discuss coins with the younger guy that owns the store. A few more dealers I see at many shows are also about that age. And now that I think about it, possibly about 1/3 of all the dealers are not old at all which may well be a reason for a lot of younger customers also.
In the past I've seen coin shows that were predominately much older people as dealers and there you would see a sort of attitude towards younger customers.
