i am trying to decide between 2 scales on ebay. one has 600 gram capacity accurate to .1 and the other has 100 gram capacity accurate to .01
which one would you prefer? higher capacity that is less accurate. or less capacity that is more accurate. do you really need a scale accurate to .01? would I even need a scale that weighs more than 100 grams?
I would say more accuracy, but it all depends how much weight you plan on using it for... Especially if you are weighing older worn coins, or rounds & AE/Maples/etc...
i think I agree, I don't think i'll be weighing lots at a time. mostly want to use it for silver value and stuff like that for worn coins. and to help weigh coins for authenticity. so I think the accurate route is definately the way I want to go.
