So I got my first hour ever in today with my brand new Ace250 at a local community center field.
I tell you it was quite difficult, but fun none the less, of course the ground was hard and I spent 20 min in the dark, but thats because I didn't want to stop digging :)

take was 8 pennies, 6 bottle caps, electrical cord plastic cover and a big metal tent peg? ( the head was 8 inches in the ground..wonder how it got that far! )

Imo,

I know other folks doing this same sort of activity but in post-concert amusement parks.

You would not believe the amount of coins and jewelry (gold and silver rings etc.) that they have found.

Just imaging the thrill of finding an 18 k 1 carat diamond ring etc.

I personally would love to do what you are doing but just don't have the time.

Good luck going forward.

Not bad for a break in run I'd assume. If you had fun doing it, then all the better. +1 on the parks or areas where concerts or amusement parks were held.

You know, I lost one of my tent pegs up in Petawawa next to the Ottawa river. LOL great find. I have to get a MD. Oh, and the reason it was so deep is because you really had to drive them in if you wanted them to actually hold up the tent; especially if its sandy loam.
